No, I haven’t permanently upped my commute by adding a ferry ride across the Puget Sound.
Tuesday was an exception: after completing the last of his exams for training at Alaska, Iain has 6 days off and wanted to take the boat out cruising—unfortunately, the first four of those days fell immediately after Labor Day weekend which meant of course I already had my long weekend and wasn’t able to join. Instead, we met up after work yesterday and took the boat to Bainbridge Island to start off the trip. In the morning I walked to the ferry terminal and headed downtown.
