Garden time

When I first moved into my building, I was pretty gung-ho about getting a plot in the garden next door. There was a delay and then little response about vacant spaces and eventually I lost interest. Two years later, Miako lives here too, she is freshly motivated and she has claimed a spot just below my bedroom window.

First day's progress: Before and ...well, when I went back to work!

The tree outside my dining room window is in full bloom, the lilacs are just starting, and the tulips popping up everywhere.
