Breaking free
i have been waiting for the past weeks, watching the ice on the river get softer and thinner, and hoping it would break in an equally drammatic and sudden manner as last year.
it was not quite as abrupt this time-- no bicycles floating by, but we still have seagulls and smaller items floating by on chunks of ice-- goodbye winter!
