Like the rubber cup of two years ago, the first week of school again brought a strange but playful group project between the various courses at the school. While it there were no overly ambitious members in my group (ahem, Nick!) nor the same thrill of new relationships blossoming, it was a chance to get to know some of the students a bit better and still great fun to watch the culmination of our work take off: This year it was a "montgolfiere" theme for which we built flame propelled balloons.
It might not look so promising with a full grown mexican inside...

But that didn't stop our Munk inspired ballon from taking off!

Marcos, one of my new flatmates, watches as his balloon soars triumphantly over the river and past the island...

The weather was perfect after a windy and cloudy week, the skies cleared and Stallverket through the "promised" bbq and pub afterwards by the river. A very nice evening indeed :)
