I awoke Saturday morning to the first true snowfall of the year. Everything was white and serene. Of course, the weather hasn't been consistently cold enough to keep snow yet, so late in the afternoon the snow had turned to slush and eventually, it all melted away.
And this shot is from Tuesday afternoon, when the sun managed to peak out beneath an otherwise heavy cloud cover just before it set (at 3pm...)
