On Sunday, I had a surprise visit from my friend and fellow hapa Umeå Interaction designer, Jorge. Jorge, who lives in San Francisco was in town meeting his father (whom I have promised not to liken Jorge to) and his step mother visiting Seattle from Mexico City. We went for tasty ramen noodles at Samurai Nooode, a shop I hadn't realized existed all the time I lived above it in Uwajimaya village this fall.
There was also a brief tour of the Olympic Sculpture Park, a brief meeting with my cousin's fiancee on the street, a trip toVolunteer Park, sushi and teppanyaki for dinner at Benihana and finally a drink at the Tin Table in Capitol Hill.
